By working on the Web Design, it has taught me a many important tasks that I was unaware of before. One of the main things that I have learned has been balance. When creating a layout that has both images and text, you want to make sure that everything is seamless and not to crowded. A good example is when i was able to set up my images before adding any text to make sure that there was enough room for the images and text on one page rather than writing all the text and adding pictures after and it looking muddled. This made my web design look more appealing and inviting to the readers. Another main tool that i learned and was able to use throughout my Web Design was contrast. For my Web Design, I had a lighter background with darker text and headers to ensure that it would be legible for readers to see the text clearly. Doing this not only made the text stand out but also made everything look professional. By using all of what i learned during the Web Design assignment, I can use that knowledge and apply it to my future career when I eventually become a teacher.

The classroom doesn't always have to be such a serious place and by adding in a QR code in the classroom during an activity is a way to make learning more exciting. I do think adding this into the classroom is ment for students in the older grades as the younger students may get distracted and not take the activity seriously. A way to add engagement into the classroom can be after everyone is done reading the class book for that semester, the students can scan the QR code and list what they thought the main themes of the book were. Having the students go more in-depth on what they learned throughout the book and why the themes apply can help them recall what they learned and grow with their peers by seeing what they learned as well.

Case Study: Teachers are given and school email to communicate with administration, students, parents, and other teachers. Accidentally, on of the teacher on staff was caught emailing a student from their school provided email on a personal level rather than just talking about academics.

When finding out this issue had accrued, I would personally lead a training session to all staff and administration about how to properly go about talking to students. This training would consist of the importance of professionalism, respect of a minor, what a teacher student relationship should look like, and when to get a higher up involved. Bringing awareness to this topic may make teachers and staff uncomfortable, but this instances do happen. Some people might think they are just being nice but in reality, a situation can get out of hand very fast or may be taken in the wrong way. Its important to not only address a current issue but to also prevent it from ever happening again to keep both staff and students safe and understanding how to properly and responsibly use technology no matter at what age.

  3. Hi! I really loved your website design. It strikes a great balance between simplicity and creativity. The way you centered and spaced the images is spot on, and it's clear you paid close attention to color contrast between the text and background. You did an amazing job applying the principles of CRAP (Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, Proximity) to your layout. The design is visually appealing and easy to navigate, with legible text and well-placed titles. Truly fantastic work!

  4. You did an amazing job with your website design! It’s clear that you put thought into applying the principles of Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, and Proximity (CRAP) to make everything look polished and professional. The contrast between your background and text really makes it easy to read, and your consistent use of fonts and layout creates a nice flow throughout the site. The alignment keeps everything looking clean and organized, while the spacing between images and text shows great attention to detail—it feels balanced and not too crowded. You managed to present the information in a way that’s engaging and easy to follow without being overwhelming. Fantastic work!
